The enchanting town of Kona is nestled along the shoreline of the famed Kona Coast, at the base of verdant Mt. Hualalai, where the crystalline waters of the great Pacific ocean meet the Big Island.  This once sleepy fishing village has become a hot spot for tourists from near and far.  There's interesting shops galore, restaurants to suit everyone's fancy and them some, beaches, fantastic stops of interest and so much more. 

Just up the slopes of Mt. Hualalai from the delightful hustle bustle of Kona is the quaint village of Holualoa and the start of Kona Coffee Country.  This is backroads Hawaii at it's finest.  Beautiful!  Holualoa is home to many world class artists, so you'll find many galleries with doors thrown open to the tropical breezes.  Our vacation home rentals are just a hop, skip and jump from the center of Holualoa, so a perfect home base to explore all of what the Holualoa and Kona areas have to offer as well as as easy starting point for all of the Big Island's attractions.
